Zlati Grič Winery is located in the heart of the idyllic Škalce Estate in Slovenske Konjice. Spanning 75 hectares of meticulously arranged vineyards, we continue an 800-year tradition of winemaking in this region, contributing to the uniqueness of the landscape. Each year, we produce up to 550,000 kg of grapes. White varieties dominate our vineyards, including Welschriesling, Rhine Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, and Sauvignon Blanc. Among red varieties, we cultivate Blaufränkisch and Pinot Noir. White varieties prevail due to both tradition and natural conditions, as our continental climate leads to higher acidity in the grapes, giving the wines a refreshing character. With low vine yields (1 to 3 kg of grapes per vine), we produce only high-quality and premium wines. We are committed to integrated grape production, ensuring an environmentally friendly approach. Our wine cellar covers 3,500 m² with a capacity of 1.3 million liters of award-winning fresh, aromatic, aged, and sparkling wines. We strive to highlight the terroir in every bottle. Our wines are divided into three segments. The Creative Line offers a pleasant blend of freshness, primary aromas, and elegance. Grapes for the Premium and Black Line wines come from selected vineyards. These wines mature in wooden barrels, becoming complex and rich, and are bottled only in the best vintages. We are especially proud of our sparkling wines, crafted using the traditional method. These sparkling wines age for at least three years within the stone walls of Otakar's Cellar at Žiče Charterhouse, the most important monastery in Central Europe, dating back to the 12th century. In addition to premium wines, Zlati Grič offers various experiences. Visitors can tour one of the most modern wineries with wine tastings, play golf on a 9-hole course set among the vineyards, or stay overnight at the 15th-century Vineyard Mansion, which offers three apartments. The stunning setting also provides a perfect venue for weddings, business meetings, and team-building events. A true treasure trove of experiences.
