Jamnik Wines

Vino Jamnik is a family-owned winery from the renowned wine-growing region of Svečina. For generations, they have passionately cultivated grapevines and produced premium wines. Their vineyards are carefully managed with great respect for tradition, while modern methods are also employed to ensure the production of exceptional quality wines. Covering 8 hectares on sun-kissed slopes, their vineyards are planted with Yellow Muscat, Sauvignon Blanc, Kerner, Gewürztraminer, Zweigelt, Chardonnay, as well as Welschriesling and Rhine Riesling—varieties that best express the advantages of this unique location. The clay and marl soils provide ideal conditions for vine growth and contribute to the full, complex flavors of their wines. The vineyards have an average age of 25 years, giving the wines maturity and depth that are truly distinctive. The winery, opened in 2020, continues to delight wine enthusiasts and visitors through guided tastings. It holds around 45,000 liters of wine annually, producing at least 12 different labels, including young wines, still wines, sparkling wines, and predicate wines.
